Personal Data Protection Law
1. Purpose of the Disclosure Text and Our Company’s Role as Data Controller:
Our company, ALGOLINA SAĞLIKLI GIDA SAN. LTD. ŞTİ (“ALGOLINA” and/or the “Company”), acts as the “data controller” within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) with respect to the personal data of its customers. With this Disclosure and Consent Text, it is aimed to inform customers about the personal data processing activities carried out by www.algolina.com in accordance with the Law and to obtain their explicit consent for the circumstances specified in Article 3 below.
2. Purpose of Processing Customers’ Personal Data:
Customers’ personal data are processed by www.algolina.com for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work by relevant business units in order to benefit the relevant persons from the products and services offered by www.algolina.com, conducting related business processes, execution of the commercial activities carried out by www.algolina.com, planning and execution of commercial and/or business strategies of www.algolina.com, ensuring the legal, technical and commercial-transactional security of www.algolina.com and the persons who are in business relations with www.algolina.com, and planning and execution of activities necessary for customizing and promoting the products and services offered by www.algolina.com according to the tastes, usage habits and needs of the relevant persons. These are carried out within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law. 3. Personal Data to be Processed Based on Customers’ Explicit Consent and Purposes of Processing:
In cases where the personal data processing conditions set forth in Articles 5/2 and 6/3 of the Law are not met, www.algolina.com requires customers’ explicit consent to process their personal data. Within this scope, customers’ personal data may be processed with their explicit consent for the following purposes: creating customer-specific campaigns, conducting cross-sales, determining target audiences, tracking customer activities and carrying out activities to enhance user experience, improving the functioning of the www.algolina.com website and mobile application and customizing them according to customer needs, conducting direct and indirect marketing, personalized marketing and remarketing activities, personalized segmentation, targeting, analysis and in-house reporting, conducting market research, planning and execution of customer satisfaction activities, and planning and execution of customer relationship management processes. Within this framework, customers’ personal data may be processed and shared with the parties specified in this Disclosure and Consent Text for the purposes of planning and execution of the sales and marketing processes of www.algolina.com’s products and/or services and establishing and/or increasing customer loyalty.
4. Transfer of Customers’ Personal Data:
Customers’ personal data may be shared with www.algolina.com, company officials, our affiliates, business partners, suppliers, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions and private entities within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. This is done for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work by relevant business units in order to benefit the relevant persons from the products and services offered by www.algolina.com, conducting related business processes, execution of commercial activities, planning and execution of commercial and/or business strategies, ensuring the legal, technical and commercial-transactional security of www.algolina.com and persons in business relationships with www.algolina.com, and planning and execution of activities necessary for customizing and promoting the products and services offered by www.algolina.com according to the tastes, usage habits and needs of the relevant persons.
5. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data:
Personal data are collected electronically from customers. The personal data collected based on the above-mentioned legal grounds may be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law and in this Disclosure and Consent Text.
6. Rights of Customers as Personal Data Owners:
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, data subjects have the following rights:

To learn whether their personal data are processed,

To request information if their personal data have been processed,

To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose,

To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

To request the correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request that the transaction carried out within this scope be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data have been transferred,

To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, despite being processed in accordance with the Law and other relevant provisions of law, and to request that the transaction carried out within this scope be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data have been transferred,

To object to the occurrence of a result against the data subject by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

To demand compensation for the damage in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
Requests regarding the exercise of the aforementioned rights may be submitted by personal data owners in accordance with the procedures specified in the Policy on Processing and Protection of Personal Data under the Law No. 6698 available on www.algolina.com. www.algolina.com will evaluate such requests and finalize them within 30 days. www.algolina.com reserves the right to charge a fee over the tariff determined (if any) by the Personal Data Protection Board in relation to such requests.
